Copying, Pasting, and Deleting ST Elements
You can copy, past, and delete ST elements.
Deleting ST Elements
Select the text to delete. Press the Delete Key or the Backspace Key to delete the text.
Copying and Pasting ST Elements (Copying)
Right-click the text and select [Copy] from the menu. Or, select the text and press the Ctrl + C Keys.
Right-click at the location where you want to paste and select [Paste] from the menu. Or, press the Ctrl + V Keys.
Copying and Pasting ST Elements (Copying with Dependents)
Select the text to copy. If you want to copy data together with referenced variables and their data types, select [Copy with Dependents].
Right-click at the location where you want to paste and select [Paste] from the menu. Or, press the Ctrl + V Keys.
Variables that are referenced in the text string and the data types of the variables as well as the text string are added to the destination ST program.
Copying and Pasting ST Elements (A variable or data type with the same name already exists when copying and pasting with dependents)
Select the text to copy. If you want to copy data together with referenced variables and their data types, select [Copy with Dependents].
Right-click at the location where you want to paste and select [Paste] from the menu. Or, press the Ctrl + V Keys.
If a variable or data type with the same name and different attribute already exists in the destination program, the [Comparison before pasting dependents] Dialog Box is displayed.
