Restore settings with intelligent tap without PC
When a light curtain is replaced, settings can be restored using the intelligent tap without connecting a PC at the manufacturing site.
Install the intelligent tap to automatically copy the settings of the replaced light curtain to a new one.
Virtually anyone can easily replace light curtains and immediately restart the machine.
Backed up settings are automatically restored at power on, reducing time and effort, especially when many machines are installed for mass production.
What is intelligent tap?
Light curtain settings can be backed up and restored using the intelligent tap without connecting a PC at manufacturing sites.

- IP67G protection allows use in wet and oil-mist environments.
In addition, F3SG-SR/PG Safety Light Curtains can be connected via IO-Link using the intelligent tap.
This enables remote monitoring of the status of light curtains.
The Bluetooth communication unit attached to the intelligent tap allows configuration and monitoring via Bluetooth using SD Manager 3 running on a PC.
