Creating a dashboard for the Condition Monitoring Package to monitor with K6CM/K6PM
Launch the Dashboard Generator and create a dashboard for the Condition Monitoring Package to monitor the equipment status with a K6CM (induction motor condition monitoring device) or K6PM (thermal condition monitoring device).
K6CM/K6PM Common: Scanning Devices in the Dashboard Generator
Create a dashboard for a condition monitoring package other than the Condition Monitoring Package (Variable Speed Motor). This procedure assumes that the Dashboard Generator, SpeeDBee Synapse, and Chart Display Tool have already been linked.
In the Device List Screen of the Dashboard Generator, click the [Device Scan] button on the upper right.
Click the [Scan] button. Confirm the scanned devices and click the [Apply] button. Confirm that the devices have been updated in the Device List Screen. (In the example, “K6CM-VBMx-EIP” is added to the EtherNet/IP section.)
NEWK6CM/K6PM Common: Registering a Dashboard in the Dashboard Generator
In the Package List Screen, click the [Register Dashboard] button on the upper right.
Enter a dashboard name, select a package, and enter the equipment identification information as necessary.
After selecting a package, click the [Select Devices / Set Parameters] button when it becomes active.
Select a device from the IP address dropdown menu and click the [Apply] button.
Enter the measurement interval and click the [Settings] button.
In the Register Dashboard Screen, click the [Register] button on the lower right.
Wait approximately 30 seconds then navigate to the Dashboard List Screen to confirm that the registration is completed.
NEWK6CM/K6PM Common: Launching SpeeDBee Synapse
In the Dashboard List Screen, click the [SpeeDBee Synapse] button on the upper right.
Confirm that a panel with the desired dashboard name has been added.
(In the example, it is named “TEST”.)
Click the [DETAIL] button in the panel.
Click the [Start] button. Confirm that the flow links turn green and the component starts.
Click the [System] tab.
Click the ▶ button of the error manager to start it.
NEWK6CM: Launching Chart Display Tool
In the SpeeDBee Synapse Screen, click the graph icon on the upper right to launch the Chart Display Tool.
Click [Dashboards].
Select the desired dashboard name that has been added. (In the example, it is named “TEST”.)
Select the package being used. (In the example, the Condition Monitoring Package (Induction Motor, Vibration Type) is being used.)
Confirm that the KPI is displayed in the graph.
To change the horizontal axis (time range) of the graph, use the [Last 1 hour] dropdown menu.
To change the data refresh frequency, use the [Refresh] dropdown menu on the upper right.
NEWK6CM/K6PM Common: Changing Acquisition Interval After Dashboard Registration
After registering a dashboard, you can change the acquisition interval from [Select Devices / Set Parameters] in the Dashboard List.
Open the Dashboard List Screen of the Dashboard Generator.
Select the dashboard you want to change and click the [Details] button.
Click the [Select Devices / Set Parameters] button.
Enter a value in the Get Interval (milliseconds) field and click the [Apply] button.
Confirm that the components are operating normally in the SpeeDBee Synapse Screen.
If the indicator light on the upper left of the collector and all flow links are green, the system is operating normally.
NEWK6CM: Expanding Graph Display Period Settings
If the display interval is smaller than the appropriate value for the display period, a blank period will appear on the right side of the graph for time-series graphs, and it will not be displayed correctly.
In this example, change the display period to Last 2 days.
The right side of the graph becomes blank and cannot be displayed correctly.
Select an appropriate display interval setting value from the Display Interval dropdown menu.
In the example, change it to 1 minute.
The graph is updated and now displays the previously blank period correctly.
NEWK6CM/K6PM Common: Saving Dashboard Configuration Items
The display rate returns to the default value when you close the dashboard.
If you want to save the settings, you need to overwrite the default settings.
Change the setting items.
Set Chart Display Tool to Edit mode.
Click [Save dashboard].
Check the [Update default variable values] checkbox and click [Save].
If Dashboard Saved is displayed, it has been saved successfully.
NEWK6PM: Launching Chart Display Tool
In the SpeeDBee Synapse Screen, click the graph icon on the upper right to launch the Chart Display Tool.
Click [Dashboards].
Select the desired dashboard name that has been added.
(In the example, it is named "TEST".)
Select the Condition Monitoring Package (Equipment Temperature) Summary.
Confirm that the status of the connected sensors is normal.
NEWK6PM: Operating the Detailed Graph Display Screen
To change the display period, use the [Last 1 hour] dropdown menu on the upper right.
To change the data refresh frequency, use the [Refresh] dropdown menu on the upper right.
To view the detailed status and temperature of each sensor, click the Condition Monitoring Package (Equipment Temperature) Details.
Click the sensor number you want to view to display the temperature of each segment.
To return to the Summary, click the desired dashboard name at the top of the screen and select Summary.
