Creating a dashboard for the Equipment Monitoring Package/Factory Monitoring Package
Launch the Dashboard Generator and create a dashboard, for a designated sensor to calculate KPIs of each equipment unit. In addition, create a dashboard that enables collection of KPI data from multiple data flow controllers.
NEWEquipment Monitoring Package: Configuring NX-OD (output unit) in Sysmac Studio
Create a dashboard for the Equipment Monitoring Package to monitor each equipment unit, and another dashboard for the Factory Monitoring Package to centralize equipment monitoring.
This procedure assumes that the Dashboard Generator, SpeeDBee Synapse, and Chart Display Tool have already been linked.
In Sysmac Studio, display the I/O map of the NX-OD that outputs error status signals.
Go offline and edit the settings.
Set [Variable Name] and [Variable Type] to which error status signals are output.
(In the example, error status signals are output to “Output Bit 00”.)
The variable name is set to “Ch1Output”. The variable type is set to “Global Variable”.
Set “Publish Only” for the network publishing of “Ch1Output”, the variable to which error status signals are output.
In the left pane, select [Programming] > [Data] > [Global Variables] to open the setting screen.
Go online and synchronize the settings.
Click the [Transfer to Controller] button.
NEWEquipment Monitoring Package: Scanning devices in the Dashboard Generator
Create a dashboard for the Equipment Monitoring Package to monitor each equipment unit, and another dashboard for the Factory Monitoring Package to centralize equipment monitoring.
This procedure assumes that the Dashboard Generator, SpeeDBee Synapse, and Chart Display Tool have already been linked.
In the Device List Screen of the Dashboard Generator, click the [Device Scan] button on the upper right.
Click the [Scan] button.
Confirm the scanned devices and click the [Apply] button.
Confirm that the devices have been updated in the Device List Screen.
(In the example, “NXR-ILM08C-EIT (192.168.250.11)” is added to the IO-Link (Ethernet/IP) section.)
Click the [IO-Link Master Auto Configuration] button and then the [Apply] button.
NEWEquipment Monitoring Package: Registering a dashboard in the Dashboard Generator
In the Package List Screen, click the [Register Dashboard] button on the upper right.
Enter a dashboard name, select a package, and enter the equipment identification information as necessary.
After selecting a package, click the [Select Devices / Set Parameters] button when it becomes active.
Enter parameters used for calculating each KPI item.
From the [Device] dropdown menu, select [NXR-ILM08C-EIT (IP: 192.168.250.11)].
In the Register Dashboard Screen, click the [Register] button on the lower right.
Wait approximately 30 seconds, then navigate to the Dashboard List Screen to confirm that the registration is completed.
NEWEquipment Monitoring Package: Launching SpeeDBee Synapse
In the Dashboard List Screen, click the [SpeeDBee Synapse] button on the upper right.
Click the [DETAIL] button in the panel and switch [Run] to [Edit].
From the left pane, select [EtherNet/IP Collector] and make settings.
(In the example, the name is set to “Error_signal_collector”, the host to the IP address of NX102-9000, and the get interval to 100 ms, the variable name to “Ch1Output”, the column name to “data”, and the data type/array size to “BOOL, 1”.)
Connect a flow link from the right side ● (output) of the component you created to the left side ● (input) of the [NXR extract] component.
Click the setting (gear icon) of the [NXR extract] component.
Set the settings for the [Abnormality Measurement Sensor] to “None” and click the [SAVE] button.
The flow links turn yellow when the component is activated and green when it receives sensor inputs.
Click the [System] tab on the upper left, then click the ▶ button of the [Error Manager] component.
*You must configure the error manager for the Chart Display Tool to collect data from SpeeDBee Synapse.
NEWEquipment Monitoring Package: Launching Chart Display Tool
In the SpeeDBee Synapse Screen, click the graph icon on the upper right to start the Chart Display Tool.
Click [Dashboards].
Click the desired dashboard name that has been added. (In the example, it is named “TEST”.)
Click [Production Result Dashboard].
The KPI is displayed in the graph.
To change the horizontal axis (time range) of the graph, use the [Last 1hours JST] dropdown menu.
To change the data refresh frequency, use the Refresh dropdown menu on the upper right.
(In the example, the data range to be displayed is changed to “Last 5 minutes”.)
*Graphs of some dashboards including the daily report dashboard are not displayed at the time of launch since they need the output of the previous day’s data collected and aggregated from slaves once a day.
