Collecting OMRON PLC data with PLC Collector
Here we explain how to collect data from the OMRON PLC’s variable information.
Creating/configuring PLC Collector
Use the PLC Collector to collect OMRON PLC data.
The following steps assume that the panel you wish to edit has been opened.
Drag and drop the PLC Collector icon to the panel.
The configuration screen is displayed.
Register a name for the Collector.
Select the OMRON PLC for your make and model.
Register the IP address and port number.
Select your data retrieval method (e.g., Keep connect).
Register your data sources by clicking the [Add] button at the bottom of the screen.
Set the name, type, collection interval, etc. for your data.
Click the [Add] button to add more retrieval items.
When you’re finished, click the [Save] button.
